(no subject)

It's 3:40 in the morning. I have been up for the last half hour, coughing.

So maybe it's time to see the doctor, yes? I've had this bug for a week and a day now, and it seems to have stalled out in my chest. And that's bad because, you know, they say sleep is necessary.

...Why.

Worst. Morning. Ever.

After sitting in the waiting room for upwards of an hour, George and I both (because we were BOTH in there to see the doctor) were informed that our insurance termed on October 1st. Except... uh... money's still being taken out of his check for medical insurance. George called his boss and after a little back and forth, it looks like the HR/payroll company that they use to handle the HR side of things has screwed up YET AGAIN. They claim not to have received our election paperwork, AND YET the dental insuance carried over from 2007, which they claim to have done by default.

Uh. What? You'd carry over dental insurance but not medical insurance? And then claim not to have received anything? Right.

SO. No doctor's appointment for me. But I did get my hands on some Delsym, which supposedly is the best OTC cough treatment available. So, new plan: Delsym and sleep.

I'm so tired. :(
