Have you tried the Smucker's natural peanut butter? It does do that annoying thing where you have to stir the oil into it (unless you keep it in the fridge, which we don't,) but we've been pretty happy with it. The Target store-brand natural peanut butter doesn't separate, but it's not as...moist?

Oh, and some degree of, um, brutal honesty is kinda expected after a stroke, I think. At least that's what I've gathered from my cousin's wife's experience. She's told at least one doctor off (he deserved it, imho.)
Mom's reading a book - My Stroke of Genius, written by a neuroscientist about her own experience during and after her stroke. She had an ateriovenous malformation, which is the congenital defect my cousin's wife had that led to her stroke. Mom recommends it highly, and says that it gave her a lot of insight.
