Blech. Bios. Okay, let's see. (I'm so bad at this.)

I'm in my 30's and a Pisces. My Chinese zodiac sign is the Rabbit -- hence the occasional "bunny" references. ;)

What do I like? Well, let's see. Obviously, there are fandoms: Inuyasha, Fruits Basket, BtVS, AtS are my main ones. I also dabble in fanfiction. I enjoy most anything creative -- writing, reading, drawing... even cooking.

I love film -- I adore going to the movies and/or renting/watching DVDs. I particularly like classic movies -- I love Katherine Hepburn, Cary Grant, and Humphrey Bogart ("Casablanca" -- pure genius. Love that flick.) I also enjoy big, pretty movies -- the LOTR series, for instance, and "Braveheart." Anything with a good story and interesting, sympathetic characters will catch my attention. (Ooh, and comedy. Love comedy. Did I mention I just love film?)

Books: I'm a proper literature geek. I've been an English major for more years than I care to count. I love the old stuff -- the Romantics, mostly. Coleridge, Shelley, Byron... And my true love would have to be Gothic literature. The British Gothic novel... mmmmm... I've read "Dracula" at least five times. "Frankenstein,""Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,""The Picture of Dorian Gray,""Melmoth the Wanderer," and "Confessions of a Justified Sinner." That's not to say I don't like lighter (or funnier) stuff. I also like Jane Austen, the "Bridget Jones" books, and fell in love with Kelley Armstrong's novel "Bitten."

Favorite color: Green, usually.

Favorite music: I like lots of different kinds of music -- my iTunes folder has everything from the theme from "The Pink Panther" to old-school 80's tunes ("Tainted Love") to Sarah McLachlan, Bon Jovi, Hoobastank, Eric Clapton, The Beatles, Toni Braxton, Dido, BB King, Peggy Lee, Billy Joel, Stabbing Westward... Yeah. Music. I like it.

And chocolate! Who doesn't love chocolate?

She is neither uke nor seme, but a rare example of the fabled "Switching Stoic" (tm) - a hybrid - and thus causes much annoyance to semes. She is typically cuddly and laid-back, and her hobbies include tea, sleeping, manipulating muses, general mischief and mayhem, and driving various semes to distraction with her irrepressible charm (and big brown eyes). Strengths: Ability to turn simple plot ideas into massive epics, ability to keep hebi-chan up till all hours of the night (*smirk*), being an elitist fic-bitch, and the possessing ability to create the rare and mythic "alternate-alternate-alternate universe". Weaknesses: Hebi-chan, NERT, Irish Breakfast Tea, Shigure, Sesshoumaru, Miroku, chocolate, soft and squishy kitties, Daebal, and many other things that tickle her fancy. Special Skills: Smiling guilelessly, finding the shortest possible route to the gutter, and whipping out random quotage running the gamut from Jane Austen to BtVS. Niamh's most effective attack is: "Teh Bunneh Eyes of Doom" (tm), and though she frequently demonstrates characteristics common to the garden variety uke, Niamh is a proper "Switching Stoic" (tm), and when provoked has a tongue sharp enough to cut diamonds. Weapons: A soft voice and a big stick, "Teh Bunneh Eyes of Doom," and aforementioned diamond-cutting tongue.
