I have the Smuckers in the fridge right now. George appears not to like it AT ALL, though I kinda suspect he didn't stir it properly. I was also under the impression you HAD to keep it in the fridge -- if you don't, I might not. (I have no problem with it. It tastes nice and peanuty to me. But someone is a picky, picky eater.
It wasn't so much brutal honesty as... okay. The NICEST thing he called the nurses at the hospital? Was "the Gestappo." At that point, it was late, and Mom was at the end of her patience, and came home for the night.
It's actually a little... depressing, because this cranky, bitchy, rude person is... not my grandfather. He's been picking fights with Mom so frequently that she comes over to our house to get away from him. He's got this unbelievable sense of entitlement, and he's ... he's spoiled, I hate to say it. But sometimes I just want to shake him and say DO YOU REALIZE HOW LUCKY YOU ARE YOUR KIDS DIDN'T PUT YOU IN A NURSING HOME?! And none of her brothers or sisters really get that she has to put up with SO MUCH taking care of him.
