Tee hee!

I love my husband.

But I ESPECIALLY love the look on his face when he realizes he accidentally hit me in the eye in his sleep and thus responsible for the until-that-point MYSTERIOUS swelling and soreness in my right eye.

Because he has a matching bruise on his hand.

I AM OKAY. I just. Got punched in the eye. In my sleep. By my husband. In his sleep.

When we were first married my husband elbowed me in the nose in his sleep. I shot up in bed instantly sobbing because it hurt so bad, which jolted him awake with a sleep cry of, "Oh my god, what happened?"

You hit me in the face, you turd.

Ah, married life.

The sad thing is, neither of us woke up. This morning I was like, "Wow, my eye hurts. Like, my eyeBALL." And then he looked and was totally shocked at how swollen it was. (IT'S NOW TURNING SLIGHTLY PURPLE.) And then, later, at work, he was pointing at something on a white-board and looked at his hand and saw this awful bruise. And when you line up which hand it was and which eye is hurt, and then consider the positions we sleep in... yeah. Kind of a foregone conclusion.

I, of course, am not milking it at all. ;)

Lmao. I still bring up the nose incident if he says something mean. ;) And it's been ... almost 4 years.
