Meh. It bugs me when people say that obesity is genetic. That's like saying that Cassius killed Julius Caesar—it was him and fifteen other guys. And the whole genetics vs. behavior thing just blinds people to all the relevant epigenetic factors, such as in-utero preconditioning.
Is it just me or is there less of a "thin is in" than there was in the 1990's? Back in my day, girls would say, "She looks fat" in place of "She looks ugly." They don't seem to do that any more.
