Wheeeee!

I signed up for Yuletide!  I'm afraid my fic requests were pretty predictable, for anyone who knows me, but I tried to branch out a bit with what I'm offering to write, so we'll see what happens.  This is my third go-round doing this particular challenge, and even though I haven't been doing a lot of writing lately (streeeeeeeess!!!), I don't think I could NOT do Yuletide.  It's just that awesome.  And the two previous stories I've produced for Yuletide have been things I'm very proud of, so I'm starting to think maybe this challenge is a good thing for me to do. :)

EDIT: Can someone please explain to me why it just hit me NOW that the Jennifer Crusie books would have been an AWESOME fandom suggestion to include in Yuletide? *headdesks, repeatedly*

Well everyone else seemed to love it. I donno why, but they did...

I'm just glad to see that each of the fandoms I've suggested got at least one request (even the ones I didn't request in myself). I've also been totally mesmerized by the fandoms page and while [livejournal.com profile] marag swears she has a good idea of what she'll be writing from it, I don't--not at all. (Of course, that could have something to do with me offering something on the order of 20 fandoms...)

Good grief. I only offered the requisite three this year. I offered more in past years, but I kinda felt like reining it in this year. That said, I did ASK for four fandoms.

I signed up for Yuletide too!!! It was fun volunteering for different fandoms I wouldn't normally write in - along as requesting it. :) I did it because of you last year. And no one suggested any of the J.D. Robb "In Death" books either! Where is the Eve/Roarke love?????

See, they had a period where people could suggest new "obscure fandoms" and I was wracking my brain, trying to think of something to suggest, but NOTHING was coming to me. Then yesterday, I was clearing off some books from my dresser, I picked up Crusie's "Faking It," and I very nearly gave myself a concussion from the *facepalm* I did. (Seriously. Give "Faking It" and "Bet Me" and "Welcome to Temptation" a try. Ev introduced me to Crusie last summer, and I am IN LOVE.)
