I completely wigged out two of my students yesterday -- 11 year old boys, both of them.  You see, one boy (we'll call him K) had a Halo trade paperback in his backpack, and wanted to read it during out break, and proceeded to tell me that he was a "Halo fanatic" (omgsocute).  Apparently he's not had much exposure to adults who like video games too, because when he realized I was rather knowledgeable on the subject of Halo, Halo II, the upcoming Halo III, and all things XBox, I thought his eyes were going to pop out of his head.

His exact words?  "You're freaking me out!"

In other news, I started to feel pretty craptacular yesterday and last night.  On my way home from work I picked up some Airborne, because I'd heard good things about it, and reallyreallyreally did not want to get sick two weeks before Christmas.

That stuff kicks so much ass, omg.  somnambulicious,  I HEART AIRBORNE TOO.  Feeling sooooo much better today!!

LOL. They don't get any better, even when in college. I freaked out one of my first year college students when I saw him at a night club. Somehow, until you get older, teachers and professors don't seem like normal humans to students. XD

ahhhh, Halo Halo Halo. That game has me SOLD on a 360 and it hasn't even come out yet. You've read the books? I'm so mad they got Kelly and the other Spartans out of the way like that...

No, haven't read the books, but I've played both Halo and Halo II, and I know (through George) alllllll about Halo Wars (Halowars?).

I also loved Red vs. Blue when it first came out. Not too hip on it lately -- the early stuff was gold, though.

One word: Puma. XD (My god, I freakin' loved Tucker and Church.)
