Can I just say that I love zombie movies? I never realized how much until I inadvertently started watching a bunch of them in a row, and now... God, I just LOVE 'em. They're not really scary; more disturbing and also a little silly. I'm not sure what it is about them that appeals to me so, but MAN! Love 'em. "Resident Evil," "Dawn of the Dead," "28 Days Later"... YEEEEE!!! I can't wait to see "Shawn of the Dead;" I have a feeling that that one will be the coupe de gras of the zombie genre; a place currently held by the original "Evil Dead," and my friend Justin's student film "Cube Jacked City."
LOL! I don't really love them or hate them -- I like them all right. I think maybe I got off on the wrong foot by watching "Night of the Living Dead," which so many people have called a classic, but simply drove me UP THE WALL.
I agree. They're a little silly, and really disturbing. One of my favorite parts in the "Dawn of the Dead" remake was the "celebrity target practice." Hee!
I'm looking forward to Shawn of the Dead too. The trailers are HILARIOUS.
Omg, Andy was the best part of that entire movie, from celebrity target practice to "So what's the bad news?" to bloody mess on a dry erase board! Loved every second of Andy. In fact, we didn't rent the director's cut, but I saw the box and it said there was way more Andy footage that wasn't in the theatrical release, so we're definately going to have to either rent or buy that one. *sneaks one more in* Andy! He he he...
Oh, the bit in the director's cut was great. Really, really was. You have to see it. It was amusing, of course, but there were also some touching moments. Very nice.
Besides... um... flamethrowers are like the Kaze no Kizu! Yeah! That's it! Er... except they're not shot out in a swordishly manner. But either way, er, yeah! I suppose it's the closest to being KNK'd that I'll ever get and...
*re-dies* GGGNNYYAAHHHHHHHHHH!!! *does the Inu-fingers-thing and dies*
*snickers* Very well then. You have been KNK'd by my mighty FLAMETHROWER OF DOOOOOM! BWAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAaahh... erk... *coughwheezechoke* Right, then. Perhaps I should leave the evil laughter to the professionals.
Btw, welcome to LJ! I only hope that you aren't too put off by the fact that I'm something of a Kuro-stalker. Not in the creepy way, but in the "I check Ear-Tweak with a regularity that borders on obsessive" way. *rubs neck sheepishly*
I absolutely adore your "Sibling Rivalry" series, and your mocking of the gang, and... well, you get the picture. But I will attempt to bite back any and all fangirlish squealings. *crosses heart*

ANDY!
"THIS IS MY BOOM-STICK!" He he he he...again...
