evilpuppy "passed the baton" to me to do this music meme, so I figger I'll do it now rather than later. God only knows how many times she'll try and hit me with that thing before she decides it's fun.
...I should probably hook my speakers up for this.
*turns on light and hooks speakers up, muttering at the st00pid cables*
1. Total volume of music files on my computer?
Just my computer? 6 GB. But we've got an external hard drive with more on it. The 6 GB on my hard drive is what I listen to/like. There's stuff on the external drive that I like too -- I just haven't had a chance to migrate all of it yet.
2. The last CD I bought?
...
People buy CD's still? Damn, this one's hard. I can tell you the CD I received most recently, but I don't know about the CD I bought last. I think it was the Fruits Basket Image Album - Song for Ritsuko Okazaki. I'm pretty sure that's the last CD I bought. iTunes gets most of my money these days. (Now I have bought CDs off of iTunes, but I figure this meme is talking about actual physical CD's that you go to the store and buy.)
3.a) The last song I listened to before writing this was...
"Keep the Faith," by (*hides*) Bon Jovi. *sigh* Yes, I'm a child of the 80's.
3.b) Song playing right now?
"Margaritaville," by Jimmy Buffett

Okay. Let's see. These are in no particular order -- let me say that right off the bat.
1. Snoopy Versus the Red Baron by The Hot Shots
(This is my official "Get Niamh Out Of A Bad Mood" song. It's guaranteed to work -- askaoi_tsuki1. It's a little tune I remember having on VINYL, back in the day, and imagine my complete shock when I found it on iTunes! There's also a "modernized" rock cover that SLAYS me.)
2. Tada Nakitaku Naru No (from the Furuba Image CD)
(This song. Yeah. This song? Can make me cry. Possibly because I can see that scene from Furuba so very clearly in my head when I listen to it, and that makes me bawl like a baby. So... yeah. The tearjerker song.)
3. Fukai Mori by Do As Infinity
(Hee -- I've loved this one since I first heard it. I have been known to put in a Season 2 DVD and just watch the ending credits. Sesshoumaru and Fukai Mori -- doesn't get any better than that.)
4. The Highwayman by Loreena McKennitt
(I. Love. This. Song. I sing myself hoarse on this song.)
5. Sway, by Anita Kelsey
(I love this version of the Dean Martin original, and it's another song I'll sing myself hoarse to.)
