The males will grow to be about 20-23 inches in height, according to the AKC site. And Linda recommends we don't get him fixed before he's six months old, since doing it early will mess up his growth plate, and he'll grow to larger than that.

We're pretty sure the kitties will cope. They usually do pretty well when we have our friends' Jack Russell over here, or Mom's Cairn terrier. I asked Linda about Aussies getting on with cats, and she assured me there should be no problem. The pups are socialized with cats, and do especially well in homes where they grow up with cats.
