There's just something about writing about those two together that seems to be so draining. Do you feel the same way at all?

Oh my god, there are no words for how much I struggle writing them. And it is somewhat draining -- maybe it's because it's so hard to strike that perfect balance with them, keeping them both in character, and doing justice to the unique nature of their relationship. Scenes with just the two of them are like a constant tug-of-war -- a push/pull dynamic that's got to have a specific outcome (ie: whatever outcome is necessary for the chapter).
It was a lot easier to write them before they got 'shippy in OGAM. Now it's like, "Oh sweet monkey jebus, I've still got that chapter to write." I haven't even opened the document in the better part of a week. Actually, now might be the ideal time TO open the document, since I haven't worked on it in so long. We'll see. I've got to take Mom in for her MRI tomorrow, so I really should get some grading done tonight so I don't have to bust hump tomorrow.
