1. You and I don't talk as much as we used to, but I don't feel at all like we're "growing apart." It's cool. You know I'm there if you need me, and I know I can come to you no matter how weird the shit. In fact, the weirder the better. You're smart and sharp and funny as all hell, and you've no idea how much I'd adore meeting you in person. In fact, I'm half convinced if we ever did meet, one or the other of us would end up curled in each other's lap. You're that cuddly.
2. Sometimes you amaze me with how very nice you can be. You make me try to be nicer and think kinder things. And I love knowing I can make you laugh. I actually actively try to make you laugh, which I don't do with everyone. When good things happen to you, I'm so happy for you, because you so totally deserve them. :)
3. You -- I love you to bits and pieces, and I totally need to phone you more. Your schedule's been wonky as hell lately, and that's part of the reason I haven't called recently, but it's on my mind, so don't be surprised if I call you soon.
4. Sometimes I'm afraid we will drift apart, and that frightens me. I'm not a clingy friend, or, at least, I try not to be, and sometimes that pushes people away. I hope I don't push you away; I'd miss you. I wish we were close enough to actually do things together.
5. You will never, ever know how much you brighten my day. Even my saying so doesn't do it justice. A comment from you in my LJ never fails to put a smile on my face, and I'm glad we've sort of reconnected lately. You're like a bottle of fine champagne that someone shook up. ^_~
6. You and I have some of the best conversations, and even though we have a lot of different opinions and beliefs, I think it just makes the conversations all the more interesting. I aspire to your level of snark.
7. You have no idea how much I value your unvarnished honesty. You pull no punches, and I respect and admire that. I've gotten a glimpse of your intellectual side, and I wouldn't mind getting a better look -- though it is pretty intimidating. You and I tend not to talk about "real world" things very much, but I'd like to change that.
8. I've known you the longest of any online friends, and even though we go through long stretches where we don't contact each other, know that I hold your friendship dear to my heart. Though I do wish you'd surface a little more often. :)
9. I am almost certain that not a single one of my online friends has made me squeal in glee quite as frequently as you have, particularly lately. You're so. Frickin'. CUTE. I just want to roll around in it. I'm so glad to have "met" you!
10. You. Holy cow, you. How you do not have an ulcer by now, I will never know. Someday I hope you'll realize how phenomenally talented you are, because you short-change yourself way too often, and that's a shame. I admire you and I am in awe of what you can do. I hope things start to look up for you, because you completely deserve a change of luck.
Aaaaand, hmm. You know, it's been a while since I've done a drabble meme. I think it's time to do one. I did this one a long while back, and actually went looking for the results today, so it's fresh in my mind:
