I actually do most of my writing longhand and mostly do adjusting and cleanup on a computer. That's partly because when I work on a computer, I tend to compose either academic or business type prose which...not so good for creative-type writing. The other thing is that writing longhand frees me to write in environments that are better suited for me creatively. I'm one of those people who writes better scenes when I've got a bit of humanity in the background (hence my deep and abiding love for Stacy's Coffee...).
