ITP: MOAR RAINSPAM PICTURES

Well... at least Florida's drought is probably effectively over?
Remember this picture? Sure you do! This was the view from my desk/home office area this morning.

And this is my view NOW. Look at the light (trust me, it's a light -- the little black and white stick-looking thing?) sticking up out of the water by the partially submerged steps. That'll give a nice guide to estimate how much water's accumulated since this morning.

Our neighbor's boat. It's tethered to the tree, because the dock (just barely visible behind the boat) is under water.

Kind of a crappy image, but this gives an idea of how close the water is getting to the street. The canal runs under the street, and is already beginning to wash onto the street from the other side.

I actually would not mind having some sandbags for the back of the house. Sadly, most of the streets are too flooded for us to drive our car through (comfortably, at least), and there've been no notices telling us where we can GET sandbags in our area. I know where to go in Orlando, Ocala, Mims, and Daytona Beach for sandbags, though. Real helpful. >(
