Wow, they really told me!

Y'know, I like to think I'm the type of person who gets over things easily, and I guess I do, sometimes. For instance, this FFN garbage -- I'm actually over being angry that OGAM got yanked. I mean, I did what I could -- I emailed people who'd left reviews, I emailed folks who had me on their favorites list, and the people who had me on their author alerts list. I let them know that the story wasn't abandoned -- just living somewhere else.

(And on a not-completely-unrelated note, you know that FFN is going straight to the ninth circle of hell in the proverbial handbasked when a Squeakyinuears story is deleted from FFN for, of all things, spelling, punctuation, and grammar. What the FUCK, people?!)

Buuuut, it just felt like there was something more to do. Some sort of... gesture, if you will, I hadn't done. A rude gesture, of course. A virtual flipping of the bird to FFN and the joke that is their administration methods.

It can't suck. It just can't. I love the play too much for the movie to blow goats. If the film is as bad as it COULD be, I will cry. CRY, I tell you.

*sigh*

I'd feel a whole lot better about it if they'd managed to get Michael Crawford in there.

Actually, the fact that there aren't that many big-name actors listed makes me feel better about it all. Of course, Joel Schumaker was the driving force behind the suckfest that was Batman and Robin, so that fills me with a little bit of dread.

Oh, but it looks so pretty. The "Masquerade" number -- what you can see of it -- looks positively gorgeous. And it should be.

Please, please, please, if there is a GOD IN HEAVEN, this movie WILL NOT SUCK.
