Y'know -- I had a really good feeling when he handed it back to me.
Me: "Thank you."
Prof: "No, thank you. It was very good."
Me: .....
I got a 98 on a paper I wrote in three days. And his only critique was that I didn't elaborate enough on the quotes I chose -- I made them do the work for me. And, you know, if I'd taken four days to do the paper, I probably would've fixed that. :)
But his comments were what really sent me over the moon.
He said that it was a pleasure to read a paper of this caliber in an undergraduate class.
