*iz ded; thud*
Sep. 8th, 2005 01:17 pmOkay, so we've got Tropical Storm Ophelia hovering off the coast, and maybe it's just me, but when you've got a storm named after a Shakespearean character who went crazy, it might be a good idea not to discount it just yet. Yeah, it's moving north, but one of the projected tracks has it banging a loop like Jeanne did last year, and that was some crazy shit.
However, in entirely unrelated news, last night we discovered a leak. The carpet in the living room was soaked nearest our AC intake vent. I call landlord. Landlord gives me number of Handyman. I call Handyman at 9:30 this morning and find that Landlord gave me Handyman's home number. Which was useless. Because no one was home. By the way, last night the dampness was restricted to the living room. This morning the carpet in my closet it wet. Yay.
( Cut for length and ramblings about AC units and Ophelia. )
