Feelin' icky

Cleaned the house today, did the grocery shopping, and am presently cursing my X chromosomes. Bleh. Bleh. Bleh. All I really feel like doing is crawling back into bed and curling up with a book. Alas, I've finished Mr. Darcy Takes a Wife (and have quite mixed feelings about it -- it breaks a few of the rules most of us know better than to break in fanfiction, and as I was reading it as fanfiction, this bothered me a bit; however, it was nice for a fluffy read), and I've got McCullough's 1776 waiting for me, which I really do want to read. I just have to be in a certain mood for history. And I am not in that mood right now.
And that's when I remember that there's a copy of The Nine Tailors in a box in the closet.
And then I have to remind myself that I got that to give to George to give to me at Christmas (I was feeling retail guilt and needed to rationalize a self-indulgent purchase). STFU, it felt self-indulgent when I bought it.
Long story short: the book's still in the closet. I suspect it won't be there by the time the weekend's out, but there you go.
Maybe I'll tinker with some writing.
Hmm. First some tea. Yes, I think... I think I want the Earl Gray with Lavender. Mmmm... Peet's tea is love. And their Oolong is still the best I've ever had to date.
