Cutest puppy ever. Srsly.

I, however, am ready to fall down dead exhausted. Whoo. I'll be glad when the housebreaking is over. He's actually better than I thought he'd be for housebreaking. The only time it gets rough is at night. (The breeder had recommended we keep him in his crate overnight and let him outside first thing in the morning. We tried that the first night. I made it through the whimpering, but when he started howling, I caved. He's been sleeping at the foot of the bed, and so far he's woken us up every time he's had to potty.

...I suppose I'd actually have to get a job for that, though. *uneasy* In any case, that is one adorable puppy. And I remember when you got Kisa and Bronte, and they look so BIG and pretty!

Heee! Yes, I thought I should include shots of the girls, because otherwise it just wasn't fair to them. And Kisa is a cutie pie, even if she is only just barely tolerating Darwin. (Though she's stopped hissing at him, so that's something.)

Bronte is more laid back than Kisa, so she's bearing it rather well. She doesn't really hiss at him anymore, and for the most part she's able to ignore him, unless he starts dancing and lumbering around her, wanting to play. Then she gives him this look like, "WhatEVER," and slinks away, leaving Darwin looking dejected (which lasts for about .5 seconds).

Kisa, on the other hand, is a bit more uptight, so she's taking longer to adjust. But she is adjusting. They both are, actually. Despite what Tora-kun's mother said about how bringing a dog into a house with cats was a bad idea.

The lovely thing about D-bear is that not only is he blindingly cute, he's SWEET. (And smart. Lord, I'm surprised at how much he's picking up so fast.) He's the total package!! :D

Awwww! Ohhh! *makes other incomprehensible, utterly undignified sounds* Oh, he's beautiful. I'm having a hard time deciding who's cuter up there, Darwin or your cats. But Darwin is definitely love. So much love. Yes, his half-mask and mis-matched eyes are adorable, but what really gets me is his nose — those two little pale spots! Just … Eeee!
