Okay, so...

Bunneh went to get a haircut today.

*taps fingers nervously*

My hair was short to begin with.  Quite a few people on my f-list can attest to this.  It was a short, asymmetric bob that was longer in the front than the back, and longer on the right side than the left.  I also had a single chunky blond streak on the right side.

Anyway, I was getting a little tired of it.  Thought about evening off the left and right sides, but keeping the back-to-front asymmetric cut.

So... I'm standing there, in the salon, and Wynne (my hairdresser for at least ten years) was in the back, and I picked up a book and started thumbing through it, and... I found a cut that I fell in love with.  Except it was a LOT shorter than I'd ever gone before.  A lot.

I have almost no hair now.  The asymmetric bob?  Gone.  It's... the style is kind of hard to describe, actually.  It's got kind of long bangs (the bangs reach my nose), and it was cut mostly with a razor, and...  clearly I'm going to have to take a picture, because I can't describe it at all.  Except?  It's... seriously hawt.  (I actually think, unless my memory fails me, it looks quite a bit like miyun's haircut, which I've seen in some of the pics she's posted.)

Also, the blond streak?  Kind of also gone.  (We cut that much off.)  And with the new cut, blond didn't really look like it'd suit the style.  So... we went red.  Red-red.  Not Manic Panic red, but.... definitely red.  I think I'm going to color the rest of my hair a darker brown to better complement it. 

I love it, but... part of me is missing my asymmetric bob.  But, wow.  It's been a while since I've felt this sexy walking out of my salon.  It's all short and messy and... yes, I do like it quite a bit.  But it's going to take some getting used to.  (And product.  Lots of product.)

Let's not talk about the part where I had told Tora-kun I was thinking about growing my hair out long again...

Short hair is so definitely hot! I'm keeping my hair short of awhile, need to trim it actually.

*Laughs* How interesting! I just went to get my hair cut again last night with my favorite hairdresser, Cindy. ^^ And I never realized your hair was short, too! My hair is usually cut similarly - it's more of an A-line bob, though, which just does the longer-in-the-front-short-in-the-back thing.

But you must put up pictures! I want to see what hawt-ness looks like. :D

Eh. I haven't been into haircuts since my sister chopped off one of my pigtails when I was four. It does make for an amusing response to those poor kids who work as live advertisements for discount hair salons.

Ooh! Very cool sounding! I love the asymmetric bob look. I should probably do something different with my hair since I'm old and crusty now, but I don't know what. Here's a recent pic, but usually I wear it up and outta the way. :P
