Okay. The consensus is that I should send in the resume and see what happens. However, I'm having a little trouble with the cover letter, because cover letters are teh evil. In hopes that some savvy pals are reading this, I am going to make a friends-locked post (because there is personal information in the letter) with the cover letter in it -- I'd like a little concrit on it before I send it off. I'm making the public post now in case anyone isn't logged in to LJ (and thus won't see said locked post -- it's happened before).
My plan is to ship it off (since email is acceptable) at 10 am, EST. I will be reading and re-reading it obsessively in the meantime.
Concrit isn't just welcome -- I'm begging for it!
EDIT: Sent it off at 10:27. We shall see. Not getting my hopes up.
EDIT 2: 10:32 -- they'll keep my resume for consideration as they get further along in the process. Kind of a generic response, but I'll take it. :)
