That said, have a meme (stolen from [livejournal.com profile] anatari )!

Ask me anything.

What I'm wearing, what I had for breakfast, favorites, peeves, the best/worst moments of my life, anything. Personal, silly, serious, RL or RP, ask me something and I will answer it honestly. Don't be afraid, this is your chance to get to know me better.

If you want your comments screened, just say so.

...Dude. Do you honestly think you would have managed to miss the fireworks and celebration if I had?

And how is this you getting to know me better?

*shrugs* You said I could ask anything. ^_^ That's what I wanted to know most.

Okay, here's another. How did you meet your husband>

Oh god, okay. Hee.

We were both 19, and temping at a satellite communications company down here. I was working in documentation, and he was working in shipping and receiving with his brother. Now, his brother used to come to my part of the building with deliveries, and he always used to stop in my section and flirt with me. ONE PROBLEM: I could not stand him, so around the time I knew he'd be by, I either went to the restroom, or made myself look way busier than I was. THEN ONE DAY, he brought this other guy with him, and I thought he was way cute, except for these dumbass sunglasses he was wearing.

So AJ brought George by a couple of times, and we talked if we ran into each other -- nothing really special. Then I'd heard that some temps were reaching the end of their contract, and that AJ was one of those temps, so I assumed George was too. So when we got back from the 4th of July long weekend, I didn't expect to see either of them ever again. Cue George walking across the parking lot. I was like, "What the hell are you doing here?" And he just looked at me. "I... work here?"

So we talked a little more around work, and one day, he said, "Hey, do you think you want to go hang out sometime, or catch a movie or something?" And inside I was like OMGSQUEE. Outwardly, I was COOL NONCHALANCE. So I gave him my number.

Aaaaand he never called.

So I ran into him again at work, and gave him a ration of crap about not calling, and he said he lost my number, so I was like, "Okay, here it is again."

Dumbass lost it again.

Come to find out, after he lost it the second time, he went to my mom (who was a Project Manager at the same company) and asked what to do. (She told him that I really value honesty, and if he was sincere and just told me the truth, that was the best bet. She was right.) I didn't know this, because about the time he was talking to my mom, I went looking for him in the warehouse and found his ID badge. I wrote my number on a post-it and stuck it to his badge with a note: "DO NOT LOSE ME."

He called me that night.
