HAH! Laundry Beast, I hath DEFEATED THEE!

Laundry and I don't really get along. I've tried to pinpoint the moment when our relationship went awry -- it could be all of those unmated socks, or those "dry clean only" garments that somehow managed to find their way into the washing machine's gaping maw. Or it COULD be the time when I gave myself a back spasm doing laundry. It's hard to tell.

But, dammit all, I am CAUGHT UP on laundry. It's washed, dried, folded, and PUT AWAY. (Y'all have no idea how big a deal those last two are.)

And now? Now I must make up two finals. It's 8:30, and there may be coffee in store for me.

But the laundry! It's done!!

Actually, before I start on the final exam-making, I think I'll tackle part 2 of the "friends" meme.

Any friend of Puppy's is a friend of mine! Aside from having an awesome screen name, I must say that I value your wit above all else. You have this absolutely delicious, warped sense of humor that sends me into fits of laughter. Snail Pr0n -- need I say more? I'm also a complete slut for intelligence, and while our favorite authors are on opposite sides of the Atlantic, it's great fun talking lit with you. I love getting to know people from whom I can learn new things, or gain a new perspective, and you definitely deliver. I admire your ability to organize (my own skillz are patchy), and I suspect I share your bordering-on-unhealthy love of Sterilite bins and Sharpies. (Seriously -- I cannot walk through Target without taking a LOOK at the "Home Organizatin" aisles.)

You also love provoking evilpuppy, so that's just one more thing we have in common. XD

Yay!! I'm not the only one who has a hard time folding and putting away the laundry! XD I have 2 full baskets of clean clothes I need to put away... I think I'll do that right now! You've inspired me, Niamh!!

YES! That is EXACTLY how I am, too! I dump the clean clothes out on my bed, hoping THAT will inspire me to put them away. But now I've learned that if I put things on a list, it will help me get them done quicker, because it's so satisfying to strike items off of a list.

...And because if I didn't fold and put the laundry away, I would've had about four baskets of clean laundry on my bed.
