This was stolen from [livejournal.com profile] dqbunny:

a. Post a list of 5 fandoms.
b. Have your friends list choose a character from each fandom that he/she thinks most resembles you and justify why.
c. Post in your own LJ.

So, let's see.  Five, eh?  Let's go chronologically!

1.  The X-Files (Seasons 1-5, at least. Anything after that makes me want to cry.)
2.  Whedonverse (Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel seem as if they could get squished into one category)
3.  Inuyasha
4.  Fruits Basket
5.  Harry Potter

--I realize that #1 is probably a bit difficult for most of the people on my f-list, but that was the first fandom I got heavily involved with. Therefore, folks who don't know the significance of "No-ho on the rojo," or the importance of getting bile off your fingers without ruining your cool exterior, you are absolved from #1.

[livejournal.com profile] everstar3 is coming to visit meeeeeeee!

*runs around in circles, squeeing and waving arms*

I'm trying not to go crazy making lists of Things We Have to Do, except that I'm sort of failing in that endeavor, but whatever.

Watch Pride & Prejudice (and fangirl Colin Firth)
Watch all of Fruits Basket  (except for the episode with Ritsu, as our DVD player reeeally hates that disc)
Review key BtVS episodes (Season Two! Season Two!)
Introduce Evvie to sushi
Learn to knit
Drink lots of tea
Make Evvie work on "Pieces of Me"
Work diligently on "A Bump in the Road" (shyeah, work, okay)

...And that's all I've come up with, so far.  I trust Evvie will have no huge problems with anything on the list so far.  Except for the P&P thing and Colin Firth. I know how much she hates him, and that silly book. ;D

Oooh, learning to knit is fun! I absolutely love knitting and need to pull out the scarf I've been working on. I've completely a shawl and a baby hat so far. One of my favorite things I was doing is preparing a cup of bancha, then sip on it as I knit. Very, very nice.

Now, for the fandoms...I may screw up here and can only get two since I really need to catch up on my Furuba:

Inuyasha - You actually remind me a lot of Miroku. You're very wise beyond your years and fight for your convictions and you're also smart like he is.

Harry Potter - I'm leaning toward Herminone here, because of your book-smarts and the well-written essays that I've seen from you.

Are you insinuating, madam, that I am also delinquent and occasionally, perhaps, just the teensiest bit lecherous?

*ponders the fandoms*

Well, I'm going to have to go with DQBunny on Inuyasha. Miroku was my first thought. As to the others, not short enough to be Scully.... Too assertive to be Willow... all the chixx0r end up being Hermione....

*ponders*

  1. Skinner, constantly beleaguered by insolent employees for whom you must apologize to your all-knowing and sinister superiors

  2. Cordy after she stopped being just bitchy but before she started banging Connor

  3. Miroku

  4. Ha-san

  5. Fred or George Weasley

I don't know who else could pull off being Miroku and Ha-san, but there you are.

As I'm (sadly) not all that familiar with X-Files or the Buffy-verse anymore, I'll just do the last three:

Inuyasha - Kikyou. Because you're undead. Okay, I just wanted to say something besides "Miroku."

Fruits Basket - At the risk of being a sheep, I'll say Ha-san.

Harry Potter - Minerva McGonegal: bane of students everywhere. Mwah hah!

Oh! And if you want to learn to knit from a book rather than take a class, I highly recommend Stitch & Bitch. That's the only book I could learn from. If you can't find a copy in a library, I'd be willing to copy some pages and send them to you.

Hey! I just realized that I've wanted to friend you for a long time. A lot of my friends are also your friends, so I hear about you a lot, andI end up trotting over to your lj sometimes anyway. Honestly though, I really have wanted to get to know you ^^. You've always seemed like such an awesome person.

So I'm friending you, I hope you don't mind!
