Seriously: I didn't even TRY

I didn't even KNOW this was a possible outcome.

Am still cranky with the PMS. I start my class tonight -- it's a night class, blech -- so I hope that the cramps don't start until tomorrow. The last place I want to be when I'm feeling like ass is forty minutes from home stuck in a four-hour class. (Meets only once a week.)
I had... a really nice weekend, actually. Friday Mom and Gramps got home, and everyone was in really high spirits because he's doing so well -- he's even up to his original weight, which I mentioned in my Friday Night Drunk Post. Mostly I just hung out with Mom, drinking wine and talking. We've got a dual hair appointment coming up Saturday, which she's so totally looking forward to. We were talking about doing a little Mother/Daughter bonding day -- hair, and then maybe lunch, and possibly tooling around town looking at possible sites for the tea shop (which I have not abandonded hope on).
Saturday I went grocery shopping with Mom -- she wanted to say thanks for the things we've done over at the house (taking care of the dog, the birds, the fish, the plants), so she invited us over for dinner. We ended up going to the nifty produce market that's not exactly anywhere near the house, but they've got loads of cool stuff anyway, and got goodies enough to make a huge salad, and ended up getting some strawberries as well (for dessert). It was just really nice to spend the day with her, despite the fact that I was completely exhausted. (For reasons unknown, I only slept five hours the night before, and could not sleep any longer than that.) We come home, and I popped back to my house for a bit to catch a catnap, and then teh boi and I went back over around six, and stayed until ten, just talking. And eating. OMG the eating. We had chilled shrimp, filet mignon with madeira mushrooms, salad, and french bread, with strawberries and cream for dessert. O.M.G. My god, I was stuffed.
Sunday turned into a writing day -- I futzed around a bit and finally finished a Fruits Basket fic (a PWFP lemon, that will, hopefully, become one of a three-part series of PWFP lemons) and sent that off to the lovely
somnambulicious for a brutal beta. It's... a little different from things I've written before. I was a little afraid of scaring my usual betas with such an abrupt change in subject and style. :) But I finished it, which is something -- especially considering the number of unfinished fics I have lurking on my hard drive.
And today... bleh. Today I have to drive up to Patrick Air Force Base and get a pass, because my night class is located on the PAFB campus. I've decided that if I'm going to be serious about possibly starting my own business, I should scrap the digital media thing and take some core business classes. I should be more excited about this, but business is something I've never considered myself to have much of a head for. I'm taking two classes this semester -- they're accelerated courses, so two "terms" fit into one semester. This term it's a marketing course, and next term it's a business statistics course. (Holy crap, that one scares the bejeebus out of me, because I'm positively abysmal when it comes to math, and even more abysmal when it comes to stats.) Mom recommended I take a finance course as well, and a budgeting course. Fnar. We'll see how it goes. If I suck at it, then I'm going to have to seriously reconsider plans for a tea shop, because... yeah.
Anyhoo, I need to get some breakfast and head up to the base. The sooner I go and get my ID, the sooner I can come home.
