Someday you will figure out that the complex chain of events that starts with your claws embedding in my skin (SURPRAIZ BLOODSHED!), then leading me to let out a rather loud "OW", and then leads to Darwin Enforcer-Britches getting all up in your kitty-business (with or without a complimentary warning nose-bump).  At which point you hiss and run away, and he goes back to his spot under my desk. 

...Until you come back and do it again and seriously, I did not drop you on your head as a kitten.  When is this going to sink in?

Ha! One of my husband's biggest fears, that. He kicks the cats out and shuts the door on them. Of course, they sit outside the bedroom, sticking their paws under the door trying to figure out why they got booted.... ;)

Your husband is a very wise man. We didn't think there was any harm in allowing the cat to remain on the windowsill above the bed, until he jumped down and caught my arm with his hind claw as he went past. It wasn't just a little scratch, but a really significant gouge. Talk about a mood breaker...

Y'know how cats knead their claws into whatever they're going to lay down on? My little cat caught my honey in the manbits like that. I've never seen him sit up so fast.... :D
